Procne and Philomela

On the exact line between performance art and sound collage, one finds Procne & Philomela, a bizarre duo that combines electronics/noise, obsessive repetitive spoken word and kitchen-sink greek drama. Their name derives from the tragic and morally-complex mythological story of the sisters Procne and Philomela. In 2015, they will they will release their first collection for Fytini, a contemporary passive-aggressive drama, a bricolage of sounds and thoughts, a whispery anti-broadway show, drenched in queer aesthetics.
